The Viridis is a modular design from Boston Limited, packing up to 48 quad-core ARM CPUs in a 2U rack chassis.
Networking and IO is fully integrated on each Calxeda SoC (Server on Chip), resulting in a total power draw of only 5W per node. Ethernet switching is handled internally by 80Gb bandwidth on the EnergyCore™ fabric switch, removing the need for additional switches which drain power. Storage can be either SSD or disk - each SoC has four SATA interfaces.

The Baserock Slab is a multi-processor server featuring 8 quad-core ARMv7-A CPUs running at 1.33GHz and an on-board high-speed network switch fabric with 5Gbit/s between the CPUs and 2x10Gbit/s external. Each compute node gets additional performance with its own dedicated low-latency mSATA solid state drive.
